Why am I a little down? This is one reason I suppose?
It’s pretty obvious I’ve not been posting much of late. This is mostly because I’ve not been photographing…well, anything of late. Blame it on the long Winter, life getting me down, a creative fugue and the advent of the fucking Selfie Stick. I went to the Easter Parade and stayed all of ten minutes. The only thing different between this year and every other year…the damn sticks. They were everywhere.
In the end, the problem is mine. I need to find a new motivation, a new direction. I’ve been dabbling around in other mediums, but my first love is photography. Eventually, this malaise will pass, I will find new passion but until then–this space will be sporadic at best.
But hey…we will always have the Selfie Stick.
